Title: New Aussie Mag Transmoto covers CD7
Post by: Graeme M on July 01, 2010, 05:21:10 pm
Just bought a copy of the new Transmoto magazine and see they have a fairly decent website (waaay better than DA and ADB I think). I also noticed a nice photo gallery of CD7 on the site.

Check it out:

thanks Graeme, I hadn't thought of going to their website.

I picked up the mag a week or two ago and was pretty impressed.

Yep, looks pretty good doesn't it. And a short video of Ballard and his 490 Maico, so they aren't above vintage. Might be a fresh face after such a long drought with the rather pedestrian ADB and DA. I am not sure I quite like nthe 'busy' layout, but it has a different approach for sure. I still prefer to read VMX and any early 80s ADB by a long marging though.

Yep photos look great. different view to some parts of the track and the behind the seen shots.

I for one will be going out to find their mag.

Nice touch also the 10.00 donation to Sharky family for and subscription.

I saw a copy of the mag at CD7.
The finish and photos are great.
Viva la Transmoto.
Easy to start collecting seeing how there are only two issues.

Ten bucks lighter in the wallet but I got a copy.

Not a bad read, good artwork/layout, quality printing. Content probably not that much different or better than the others. There's an article about bike restoration a.k.a. How to Wash Your Bike ::).

And they gave me a neat McGiva tool - now what will I do with that :P.

Looks good! Will look for it at the local newsagent gee they are good photos its awsome how they can focus on a bike while looking through or past the suroundings that are out of focus bit of a tees i have always wanted to be able to take better pics whats the old saying "a picture tells a thousand words" thats why VMX mag is my favorite back page moment in time  ;D
Maybe next year we should show Mr Hancock the vinduro loop also.

I reckon the best mag in Oz- and can't think of a better one OS either.  Loved the snippets about the early "adventure" riders. ( VMX excluded of course!)
