Title: Monty H6 250 up pipe.
Post by: Drakie on June 28, 2010, 01:14:03 pm
Hi all,
To save GMC a headache (and me severe ear & wallet bashing); does anyone have an H6 up pipe to sell me? The RHS sidecover/airbox would be a bonus too. I'm getting tired of beating up my downpipe and skidplate. Oh, and I just got it Club Permit registered here in Vic. $110. Nice! Off I go down the road to the bush to 'prepare it for a club event'.

Carn't help you with a pipe Drakie I think I need one too, mines a mess aswell. Iv'e got the SDR going now so it might be time to sort out the Monty. Hows this club Rego work? Do you need the bike in RWC blinkers horn brake lights and headlights etc working and what dose it cover you for?

Big John,
Hmmm, GMC might have to start a production run, a mate of a mate just bought one too!
I'll have mine at Harrow with a Mikuni and hopefully a front brake that works. I'd like to see your SDR come out, we are really short on Ossas in vinduro. They were so good in their day and would have to be my all time favoutite old enduro bike. Oh for a Super Pioneer! I'd even swap the Monty.
Club Permit/Historic/Red Plate Rego covers you fully with the TAC on a club run or 'preparing' the bike. Once the revised rules come in later this year you will get the option of 45 or 90 days use on a log book.
