Jonesys recently imported second spare parts GRM trials bike has gone to a nice new home at well known Cooper and XR75 restorer/racer Dave Onley. The rare Mexican trials bike couldn't have gone to a more fitting owner being that GRMs were made by Moto Islo, manufacturer of Daves beloved Coopers. The bike is dismantled but complete except for the forks and front wheel and appears to have done bugger all work.
Jonesys other GRM made an appearance at CD7 but it was hampered by a blown crank seal.

Alans complete GRM. I wonder if there's any more of these oddball trialers in Australia?

Yes Tony, you are getting old. First a caravan ??? and now this.
Better put an extra bike rack on the caravan for the vintage trials bike…
All I can say is… "WHAT'S NEXT OLD MAN?" ;D

Hey firko I had to make some room among the Coopers for GRM ;D had a bit of a look at the gearbox today and found a broken gear, now I know why the cases were split, I think I may have the part to repair it, I have a front end for it (same as a Cooper) and a nice set of wheels, still have to pickup the rest of the parts from Jonesey, it will be interesting project to restore ;D

Tis a worry, I must admit............. :-\
But how cool will it be to rock up at the races with my own caravan and be able to go in for a cup of tea at half time........ ;)
