Yeah, beauty. Can't tell you the number of G50 Matchless roadracers that have come up for auction in the last 10 years that have been "ex-Steve McQueen".... ;)
-
Wait for the John Laws collection. Some real good stuff there :)

Some of Steve McQueen collection

So what is it about being a "McQueen" bike that makes it worth 60 thousand?

By the photo, you are just getting the tank. :-\
-
You are paying 60,000 dollars for the genuine document to say that Steve bought and owned the bike, the Husky itself, is worth $3500 to $5000
-
expensive lot of paperwork.

I guess being ex someone famous always puts a premium on anything. How much you are prepared to pay is up to you ...... if you collect Steve momorabilia then maybe it is not expensive.
I would go for Elvis's Harley. ;D

The Husky may be the On Any Sunday real deal, McQueen may well have driven the turbo Porsche but the '68 Mustang is almost definitely a replica The original is still a basket case locked away in storage in Tennessee.http://www.ponysite.de/barn5.htm (http://www.ponysite.de/barn5.htm) I have a personally autographed Tag Heuer baseball cap my ex got McQueen to sign at Laguna Seca back in the day. Anybody want to give me 5k for it? ::)
