1981 490 Mega 2
Eng # RT 3520496
Frame # 3510596
PVL Ignition, 38 Mikuni, "Wheelsmith pipe"(so Iv'e been told) Pro cucuit muffler, Renthal bars, IMS Pegs,
Works Performance shocks, Gripper seat plus other little bits & pieces.
I bought this bike from a guy in the states & shipped it over about a year ago, great bike but I don't use it enough to justify having it sitting around, I still want to be involved in the sport so I'm willing to do a deal ,what I
would like is another Maico like a Magnum or an AW, As I live in Nth Queensland and CD5 will be held in NSW this year I was thinking of doing the trip down to have some fun on the bike before I offload her but if someone is desperate to do a deal before that I might be able to work something out , Anyway she's a good honest 490 & she's ready to go,

I'm thinking around the best offer over $10,000, and as far as photos all my decent up to date photos are on my work computer which I won't have access to until the 8th, no good taking any at the moment as the engine is on the bench and the barrel is down with Les at Maico Only

Post by: bingil 6 on December 28, 2007, 09:21:23 am: Paul send the photos in if you don't mind, to answer youre questions the barrel is going out to 88mm so there will be another two oversizes after that ( Les said they kniw have the pistons to take them out to 89mm ) the bottom end is still within spec & the cases & frame seem to be unmolested
