can i put a 480 83 crank in a 82  ,are they the same need a little help on what can be swapped over

i have a 82 crank and im in need of an 83 if you want to make a swap

im in the throws of buying one or the other but need a 100% yes on the 83 fitting in the 82 before commiting ,so i can,t help its to connect to darans head caps

It's not the head that's the problem it's the main drive gear I'm not sure weather 82 83 are the same
