Its very original, and it has very strong compression but know spark, which that is not a problem. I wonder ware Amdy got it from, Dave Basham rode one for pitmans S.A. at easter weekend Acua Park 1974, it may be the one.

id say 4-5K is its limit.  IT needs a lot of work..........  you can get a good one out that states for a lot less than you would need to spend one this one.

OR if you never sell them again then the key element is simply that you really want one. I never give a damn about there resale value.

I would pay 6 grand for it but have too many good Ducati parts coming my way right now.

Everyone loves a doer upper, plus you have Aussie race history and it was Andy's bike.

That's drug money no matter how you look at it or who's it was. It's just one of many bikes Andy aquired but I guess the new owner could tell any story with reference to the Caldecott name his imagination could come up with.

$6100 AND COUNTING, hell maybe my first guess without seeing the photos of 8 grand wasn't too far out.  ;)

Imagine if Steve McQueen had signed it.

So $7600, I think I will claim the prize for nearest value estimation.

Regarding RH250s, you would need to put an extra 10 grand on top of the YZ360B. I think both bikes are cool and $7600 is not that bad if you really want one.

They needed a certain style. I didn't like the A models and they were better.

Trevor Flood pretty well dominated on one.
At $7600 that makes Chippy's fully restored YZ360B a great buy at $10,000.

I know I get accused of being biased but I swear by my 360B - requires a lot more "work" to keep running than other pre 75's I have had but geez it is just so much better it's not funny!

I'd agree with you on that Rossco.
In 1974 i watched Trevor Flood and Moss Smith both on new YZ360B's dominate the Trans Tasman international mx on the Gold Coast against the best Aus and NZ riders of the day.

Gday David, I am pretty sure Dave Basham was still riding the A on that Easter weekend meeting but maybe this B that he is riding is the one???

Yeah but for a lot pf people building it is the fun, it it costs another lazy 4K on top for the rebuild that is an investment in your enjoyment and knowing you what you have in the finish.
