The Penrith club news letter and entry form is currently posted on the StGeorge web page for the upcoming dirt track event. Good experience for the upcoming important opens happening this year. "be there or be square" cheers wally.

Jim, keep an eye out for a bloke (Dion Muirhead) on another (detuned???? ha) xs650 on sunday at Nepean. Big hearted Rod Watts built another one an put a younger bloke on it, thought I rode the other one (he built up using my engine thankfully) like a girl.

Unfortunately no Nepean for me this sunday [20th] because of other committments, looking forward to chatting with some of you fellers out there and to putting faces to 'nom de plumes' at upcoming meetings, next one I think is to be the "King of Nepean". Cool.    No DOK I never owned a Honda 500. My old friend Lester Morris named me Pancho after a social tennis match partnership with him in the old Merrylands mcc days. He said "you may look like Pancho Gonzalez the worlds best tennis player but YOU are the worlds worst" cheers.

Bad luck about the Ossa, are parts available?.Maybe time to go AMC 4/ eh? Good to hear that that the sliders turned up in force any how. Can't wait to see if mine handles any better now that the new fork rubbers lifted the machinery up to its proper level! cheers.

Look forward to seeing your Honda 350 slider perform Jim, ther'e a good performer those motors, will it be 350 or bigger? I believe they can come out pretty big. It seems a shame not enugh 350cc machinery turns up at meetings.... In the 'good old days' the 350s were a good training class for riders on there way up.I well remember the bunch of Payne framed B31s that Fairfield  club Young blokes rode, i.e.Len Atlee,Jim Airey, Gordon Gausco etc. I remember that they all looked the same with the distinctive green with black and white checks. cheers wally
