So far so good. I'm in the scmcc [sunshine coast motorcycle club] and lucky enough to live close to the track. I've just popped home to restock a few items. The main track is fantastic, well watered today but not tomorrow, the vinduro loop is perfect, more people and bikes everywhere, the pre 75 track is longer and better than last year and the whole place is just a real buzz. Should be a great weekend. Sorry i dont have any photos, to busy working.
cheers, Gary.

Hey sverige say hello to Ron Beaver for me tell him Nepean track misses him cheers wally

Yes its nice and quiet isnt it! Seems like 90% of the forum is at classic dirt right now.
-
Yes I'm stuck at home too with our usual T shirt Vic weather. (been wearing 3 T shirts today ;D)
The shows all ours, we can make any claim we want without anyone to argue with us.
KDX 175's are the best bike ever built.
And just to keep those left behind agreeing with me I will add...
Also Rokon's and PE's.
;D ;D

Ah Geoff.
Trying hard to dodge the 'Harbringer of Doom' monicker by ingratiating yourself with the leftovers in here? ;D No worries, its working!
What say we start our own little club - stuff the rest of 'em. If they really cared CD7 would have been cancelled until we could all be there. Didn't really want to go anyway.... :(
-
I am not going either would like to but can't not having a good day dropped my gt80 front guard thank god it didn't get damaged I had just put the stripe on it and got up and was hit with a massive and dropped it. Also got sent off the ground this morning for fighting. :-\
-
Did you win the fight? :D
-
Well he got the first hit but I got the second third fourth and fifth. ;)
-
Didn`t go, cd5 was the last one, so what have you fellows be up to this weekend, cambelltown vintage race meeting on tomorrow, are you going.
-
I think I'm about the only New South Welshman still here. Have beer and the new VMX to keep me company. Oh, and I suppose The Wife rates a mention? :P
Kinda lucky I didn't go to CD7, as my pay-packet was $500 thinner than usual this fortnight.... Has made things more than a little interesting on what was going to be a lean fortnight anyhow.

Michael....you need to get lessons off Barry Hall ;D
-
Any one here got a phone number for Mike1948 , tried ringing Tony and John up there and nothing.... is there no mobile coverage up there >
-
There is no mobile coverage, last year l had none.
-
There is with a decent phone/network. I made me suddenly very popular at CD6/ the 09 Nationals. :D
Don't ask me who has a decent phone and network though....
-
Doh...... if they call tell em to phone home or at least get a message to Mike
-
Don't worry, we're all having a terrible time. Track(s) are awesome, as are the Margueritas
-
Wonder if Ji and Firko have made up? Jerry

Now is a good time for the ebay bargains because all the bidders are away from the computer.
Popped into CD7 yesterday for a look around. Couldn't go last year as I got sick as a dog. This year the forces were against me as well, with work issues and the hot water system at home carking it. But went anyway, picking a new hot water system on the way.
Big turnout, lots of bikes. Never seen so many YZ490's despite what Super Hunky says about them. The legends interview and race was good. Dave Armstrong hunted down Anthony Gunter and got past him and then tried to have a run with Gally. Gave him a head start but got caught behind Laurie Aldterton and then just started losing ground to him. Geoff Ballard was running hot on a loaner Maico but broke down. Not that there was any racing it was just a fun ride.
Those blokes are still very quick. I've ridden moderns with Armstrong and he's left me standing still.

For all you poor buggers that did not make CD7, it was another unreal weekend, unreal weather (during the day) and unreal people.
I have just uploaded some snaps of some of the boys on the ning site.
Stop Press: Gally, Dave Armstrong and Andrew Bailey were having a bit of a go in the last Legends ride. Gally almost jumped the table top that leads to the step up on the other side adacent "Drunks" (I'm sure it has a name but I dont know what it is called) got all outa shape resulting in a big high speed get off, luckily he got himself back together after a minute or so and continued for a couple more laps.. Dammed impressive, I would of busted something for sure..
Will have to call him "nobody" from now on... because nobody's perfect.. although he is pretty close... ;)
Cheers
