A quick report to give the results of the sidecars from last week end at Nudgee.
First overall with 3 straight wins from 3 starts was the EML Norton of Nick Higgs Racing polited by Jamie McMurdo and Wayne Hollaway.
Second with 2nds and a 4th was Matt maloney up from Vic on his beautiful Wasp copy with a phased XS engine with David Mattock on the side.
And 3rd overall was the new team from the Chadwick family of Troy and Glen on their newly acquired pre75 Wasp Yamaha formerly owned by Muttley from Gladstone.
Our EML Yamaha 880 once again gave ignition troubles and we handed in the number one plate at the end of the day along with 2 crown lagers to the very deserving winners.
The new lengthened circuit suited the '82 EML and older Wasps well with a very sharp neg camber right hander followed by a tight left hander up hill that found our taller '84EML struggling for grip on both turns.
So it's back to the electricians for another look at what is the worlds most untraceable spark fault.

I thought the track may have been a bit narrow for you guys but that didn't seem to bother you.
It was great to watch and most the track could be seen from the pits
8 sidecars on the track at once! I'm still not sure how you all got around the first corner

Bloody good to watch! was most interesting standing op the top on the new section, wasnt even riding and you bastards managed to fill me in! once I cleaned the dirt out of my eyes picked a better veiwing position the racinging was most entertaining

Hey Guys
I posted a couple of shots of the sidecars on the BMCC ning site. Might be worth a look to some of you.
Cheers

I'll try to do a full report for the 350 site asap.
I have some shots too, a great one of coming on to the main straight getting a helmet full taken by Sarah- it about sumed up my year thus far!!
I'll try to work out how to get it on the site also.
Keep aside the 21 August as a date for the Dalby Wings & Wheels show-they have asked us to do a static disply and have a ride. They are going to build a track on the site and I suggested a smaller TT style circuit with just a jump or 2 and a large sweeper, a switchback and a hairpin all very compact to show off all aspects but not too long as to get us too spread out.
Will see what they come up with.
