Title: Wanted - Mid 70's Can-Am V-Brace Handlebars and leather tool bag
Post by: IT400C on June 08, 2010, 10:30:30 am
Hi guys,

I'm looking for a set of mid 70's Can-Am V-Brace handlebars and the leather tool bag off the Qualifier.  I'm doing a replica of the 1976 Yamaha It400C that Chris Carter (Motion Pro founder) ran at the 1976 ISDT in Austria.

All the US team bikes had the Can-Am Qualifier leather tool bag on the rear guard, and Chris Carter ran a pair of V-Brace handlebars.

I've found a pair of Wassell V-Brace bars, but they're at least 1 inch too low (maybe 2").  And I could get a leather bag made up.  But I'd like it to be as original as possible.

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tony
