Title: Swing arm chain slider 82 xr500

Need the front wrap around swingarm chain slider for my 1982 XR500 .
 Only can find N O S  one available through CMS parts  for 60 Euros  :o
 Is there  another option , such as universal type/s that may fit ???
 Any info appreciated  ,thanks

Hi b490, Have you tried your Honda dealer, I purchased a oem slider for my 83 xl 600 from my Honda dealer a couple of years ago.

I have tried Honda  dealer < NLA .
 I will modify something to fit  or make one if I can get hold of correct material .
 Have already made lower guides   but swingarm slider material seems to be a
different (more flexible) type
