Oh, Forgive them lord. They weld on kickstarters. They weld on sprockets. They force on imperial fasteners to metric threads...

Please Santa, I've been kinda good. I have a spare correct front end, the correct exhaust AND a spare original rear drum. I know DCPLASTICS will sell me the correct plastics.......

A rare as a virgin in Fortitude Valley, (In Oz anyway) CR500. I've sent an email for the engine and frame no.s so stay tuned. If anyone else is gunna bid on this, givvus a yell so we don't force each other into stupid money.

Yeah, it gets even stranger. Someone must've owned a bike wreckers! He was good enough to get back to me with some no.s

>Hi fatboycrash
>See if this helps, The ADR plate (Which I have never looked before says) Husqvarna 430AE WP O8099 9/85.
>But the motor is stamped 2063 0208
>The old Rego label shows the Eng No as 20710117 & SN 3936572
>Might just be a bits of two bikes a 430AE with a 500 engine, your help with this would be great.

Checking the no.s it appears he has a 1986 500xc motor in a 1986 430AE frame with a jappa front end and rear disc. Wow! Nothing wrong with the 500xc motor, I'm guessing it prob. just had a different gearbox. It'd make a lovely bike restored back to original as a 1986 500xc. I really like the look of the models of this year.
