YZ125G with some 38mm forks, or RM125T.
The CR-RA has a lot to recommend it, but they're remarkably rare.
-
Mainlines YZ125F is a beaut bike too!
and the kind of power it puts out stock would be perfect for dirt track.
a bit lower in the saddle than the G model too.
-
The bike you enjoy the most ::)

Rm 125T
KX 125 A5
Or ideally
RM 125T repowered with a KX 125 A5 Motor :)

The 81 KTM 125 is a rocket. The fastest 125 by a good margin.
Very tall thou and Iv'e only seen two.

CR125RZ ;D

The best 125 that l haved own was the SWM MC 125 1979 MODEL, it was very quick, and a lovely bike to ride.

Water cooled, no?
Also rare and prone to broken engine cases.

Woudn't you have to bolt a set of shocks on the back to make it an EVO bike :D

No. But you would have to have an aircooled top end, instead of that water kettle ;).
-
Nitpickers...haha
-
The answer is obvious Suzuki RM 125N and or T ;D

::)i've seen that bike as we passed at Nudgee, so slow the guy even had time to wave ::) ;D
-
to much bling for me and it's a----------------------------------------------------------------honda!
it's only fast because of the rider not knowing where the brakes are.

The Aspes 125 ticks all of the boxes for me. They're pretty, are something different from the same old, same old red, yellow, white or green bikes in the class and are arguably the trickest and fastest pre '78 125 available.
Club Wog should have a couple at CD7.

.... something different from the same old, same old red, yellow, white or green bikes in the class ....
Ay? In the Evo 125 class, I've only seen a lot of yellow, with the occasional flash of white - green and red are nearly as rare as orange.
Which isn't to say anything bad about the Aspes.
-
Geez id hate to be setting the float level on the Aspes.
Where were they made firko? Italy ,Spain?
Don't look too bad at all...i hadn't heard of them.
Is that CRG on the seat...reminds me of CRG in Karting

So that is a pre 78 bike? Wouldn't that be better in the best 'pre '78' thread?
I do agree. All of those Italian evo 125's look great and would love to get my hands on one.
