Does anyone know where I can get a new front brake cable to suit my 1976 YZ250? Yamaha say they have no stock as it is discontinued, but there are after market ones somewhere. If the same cable fits other bikes, could someone let me know, as another manufacturer might have stock, or does someone make cables to suit? Any help would be greatful.
Wayne.

I'D check but so long as it has the right bit on the bottom ( assume threaded) and drumbell at the lever you could use anything thats 1200 or longer .
based on below any later 250/400 would be close or longer which is okay anyway.
Same part number is on

Motion pro do cables for old yz's. I have them on all my bikes. They seem to be as good quality as originals. Get from local bike shop or order from USA. I have done both. Search Ebay for motion pro.

Thanks Freaky, Ross & Head. A few options here, as need to get one before CD7. :)
