Title: CR250 year model

Can anybody help with identifying year model with engine no CR250ME 3004937. The 3 before the 7 could be an 8. Am led to beleive it is a 77 model but any help in confirming would be appreciated.

Thanks for your input dkuph and smed. Not knowing much about Honda's of that vintage I'm curious as to whether or not they are desirable/collectable. Being a 76 model I guess if you were to race it you would be in the pre 78 class which may or may not put you behind the eight ball before you start.
