G'day guys,
new to the forum. Currently restoring an rm125n. Clymer manual doesn't seem to list std. sprocket sizes. Bike came with a 61 tooth on it. I'm guessing it should be 59t with 13t front. I want it mainly for dirt track, so any suggestions for gearing would be interesting.
Cheers kitakitsune.

hi Kit welcome aboard, 59 tooth standard, anything either side of this number is optional ;)

Thanks for the heads-up doc. I'll write that on my to-do whiteboard.

G'day A @ WA,
all done, ready for flat track practise day in a couple of weeks.
Replaced EVERYTHING except gearbox, piston, rings, cylinder, cyl. head, engine sidecovers, stator, rotor, wheels, frame, seat and tank. Vortex is the word. Ridden it 3 times so far. Each time you come home and hit the web for more parts. Goes like a rocket, handles quite good as far as I can tell. Last dirt bike was an '82 xr500 - back in '82. Booked in for CD8? or 9? this year. Ultra long way for you guys, but if your'e there - say g'day.
p.s. "parts pit stop.com" were a good source of genuine parts. Postage was reasonable @ $50 for most orders.
Cheers kitakitsune.
