Title: yz60 carb problem?????????

Hi just brought a yz60 for my son,for a father son project,bike starts first kick with choke on runs well with choke on,but soon as choke is turned of bike wont run will idle but dies as soon as let the clutch out,i cleaned carb but still no good,any help would be great thanks...

Sounds like it's running lean.
Can you ride it with the choke on ?

Hi yes son rides it ok with choke on,ive cleaned all jets etc thanks

Check your air screw position.
Screw it all the way in, then out about 1 to 1 1/2 turns out, see if that helps.

Hi thanks mate id say your on the money,the air screw had a teck screw in it,i took that out and put in a air/mixture screw out of another carb same thread but prob different lenght etc,so id say hopefully if i get the right one this will fix the prob,thanks again jason.
