Thought I should say g'day. I'm 47 and have been riding bikes since I was 10. First road bike not until I was 24 but still on them. Got into VMX back in 2000 with QVMX and played around until 2005. I can't race for shit but love the atmosphere so have just got back into it with BMCC on a Mk4 Pursang. This is the best old dirt bike site in the world I reckon.

Good on ya Ray - I'm at BMCC too (new member this year). I'll be behind you ;)
Ditto on the best VMX site in the world

Welcome Ray, to some of the best reading material on a website. I too, have just joined the site a few months ago. Just got my M.A Licence and joined BMCC. Should finally have my YZ250C finished this weekend and cant wait to get to CD7. Will also be at the rear of the pack.

Ray , welcome on board mate. Was that you last weekend peddling that ole Pursang around nudgee last week ......good onya

Ray. There's nothing wrong with being down the back of the pack as long as your not alone. Some of the best racing to watch is down the back. The upside is you get more track time then the fast guys. 8) Darcy

Reply to old fart; yes that was me on the '69 boat tail. Peddling is the word! but jeez I had fun. This site is almost like sitting in your shed.

Hi Ray ;D
Welcome back to the world of VMX. Don't forget to check out the QVMX website so you can stray from the Brisvegas club every now and again to ride on a natural terrain track. :D
We too welcome sweep riders like myself which help make the other guys look so fast !!!!

I know a few of the QVMX guys from my time there between 2000-2005 and my daughter loved the camping bit at Gympie, Caboolture and even one time at Kingaroy when she was in her early teens and had a great time and so did I. Good club.
