1974 model TM250 ('75 tank emblems). Fully rebuilt motor. Brand new top and bottom end, bearing, new carb, cables, bars, levers, respoked wheels and new tyres. Proven performer. A few little bits such as the front brake actuating arm and grips, not yet installed for the pictures, will be fitted and basically the bike will be race/ride ready. Bike is stock excluding the pipe and shocks and still runs the auto oil injection and complete standard airfilter assy. Seat has a few tears and duct tape repairs but other than that she's a very tidy unit and rides beautifully.
Price $3000

thays the one that spat me over the bars when
the engine locked up :o
thats why it has a new engine ::)
-
It had a new engine when it locked up with you onboard Rusty! :D it's obviously now rebuilt again but the crank was replaced in it's entirety, fresh bore, new carb and she's ready to go again. On it's maiden voyage I actually picked up my first ever win on this bike at the Coffs Classic Dirt track meet in '07 hence why I vouch for how well it rides and goes and I know for a fact it's been ridden very little since ;)

What are the foot pegs off ? and also the shifter ???
-
Freaky the footrests are the typical TSX/RM/PE style items from the '79 and later models. Unsure of the gear lever..looks aftermarket to me.
-
Gear lever is a MCS over the counter Item .......

Doc - Are they the soft pegs that drop or break ?
Stewy - the FG3 ??
-
Are they the soft pegs that drop or break
:-\ ummm..no..I didn't know there were any 'soft' pegs. Been using these and the older style for ages without issue. To be honest I don't have a problem with standard TM pegs either, they all work well for me ;)
Thanks Stew, Freaky FG 3 is the part number for MCS. 'folding gear lever type 3' I assume it stands for ;)
-

Are you sure its not a 75 model TM.
-
Sub 4900# frame number and your in PRe 75 territory....
engine # dont matter as they are a carry over model anyway.
-
That should apply with a lot of other model too.
-
yes 1974 model thats what it is, 1975 has a different frame and swing arm but motor is same
-
the tank stickers throw people as they are incorrect (by choice/preference) but it is a '74 model ;)
