whats the go with the rope on the forks ?

my gess is the rubber bands on each side of the forks are rotten and the rope is to take the weight off the forks preload.

'A' engine w 'C' barrell?  I'd be wary cos of diff strokes.  Front engine mount also looks dodgy to me

  Must have a B/C crank, it certainly needs a good cleanup,would be a brave man to ride her as is

I'm with JC....Those engine plates are a tad dodgy, it's fairly obvious that the frame didn't start life with that Suzuki engine.

 Dont think i'll be lining up in a hurry,sure would like a nice hagon frame to stick a little astro motor in i have ,maybe one day ::)

the hagon i have will get a motor (hot xl350)
the astro frame is sitting in a shed gathering dust still working on it though.haveing a astro motor might help me win the deal

  Sorry jim about the hijack but the astro motor is in a matching set with a 72' sherpa/pursang (complete)which i hope to finish with the astro either slider or astro eventually, cheers
