any one know how to get 83 pe175 front brakes to work or what tls brakes fit ?

I assume you have adjusted them and they are still no good?

Maybe your cable is stretched?

yeah all adjusted ok,cable is good,have roughed up the shoes with 80 grade paper but they give a very woody feel and lack much stopping power
