OK
We have just returned from the property a Rockley where we shall be holding the Vinduro on the 10th & 11th of July 2010.
We have modified and extended the loop .
The loop is in great condition and we cut many laps in both directions , installed additional directional arrows , cleared the course and extended the sections in the treeline.
This will be to good to miss. Very , very , EVO and earlier model friendly course
Keep these dates free and entry forms will be available soon.
Remember , 5 loops , both days , to get a chance at the prizes and then you can ride as many loops as you like.

I'll be there with my IT175 or PE400 if I've suitably recovered from my surgery on July 2. If I'm still hobbling I'll give you guys an organisational hand if you need me, if not, I'll just take some photos and sit around the campfire drinking red wine and making Maico Girl cheese platters with Husky 67..... ;D
Good work boys.

Talking like Yoda you are
The force runs strange in this one

You up for a road-trip Geoff?
Roger, not until the end of the week.
-
not until the end of the week.
Can you confirm whether you are a definite for 3 Bridges please Nathan.
-
Here's a yoderism just for you Geoff.
Ready are you Shoey? What know you of ready Geoff? For two days have I trained men on loop set-up. My own council will I keep on who is to be trained. A set out man must have the deepest commitment, just like Ribbo a most serious mind. This one, a long time have I watched. All his life has done the set-up, for the future of the riders, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph.
Only the focus on the set-up ,Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh! A Rider craves this type of Riding most."

Thanks for the directions Nathan S according to goggle its 930K's 12hrs drive so i might sit this one out it would be a bit of an enduro just getting there :o but it sounds great i will keep an eye on this section and maybe there will be one a bit closer to home in the future.
;D Huskie

Camping Friday night is fine.

OK guy's
The first Vinduro / Poker Run will be week-end of the 10th and 11th of July 2010.
Entry forms will be available soon on The Manly Warringah Motor Cycle Inc. website.
We are just waiting On the permit to run the event from MNSW
Rockley will be the venue.
As previously advised the loop was already very good and it has been vastly improved.
To all riders interested that do not have a current competition license you will require a recreational licence. We can provide the Rec. license but will need to know prior to the event as we purchase the rec licences from MA.
Pre entry is our preference but you can enter on the day. If you enter on the day and require a rec. license but have not previously advised us of your intensions you will not have rec. license reserved for you therefore you will not be able to ride.
Camping is available on site
Portable toilets will be available
Bring all your requirements for shelter , food and the fresh water you require for drinking.
“Entry forms will be available on the Manly Warringah Motor Cycle Club web site soon.”
Remember bikes must have headlights (no they don’t necessarily have to work) MX bikes with headlight fitted are very welcome
Prior to entries being received if you wish to reserve a rec. licence , email me.
[email protected] or [email protected].
I expect if we purchase a rec. license and it is reserved for a particular individual and that individual is a no show, we would still expect payment for the license . as previously stated we are only purchasing enough licences for confirmed event entrants.
The event entry fee will be $58.00 which covers both days.
The rec. licence fee will be $25.00 which covers both days.
Prizes will be presented to the three best poker hands on Saturday
Prizes will be presented to the three best poker hands on Sunday
Email me with any questions
Regards

You can turn up on the day and sign on , however we do prefer pre entry to allow us to gauge our support and facilities requirements.

Roger asked an interesting question this morning regarding numbering of your bikes.
Please see the following:
Your event number will be allocated to you at sign in and a adhesive number tag provided.
Your adhesive number tag will be placed on either the right or left side of your helmet to allow the final check point to see and log your number each loop.
Regards
Shoey

NSW Vinduro / Poker run No:1 2010
Fabulous week-end
30 riders all up.
A great mixture of very well prepared bikes.
Special mention to the 4 very well prepared IT Yamaha's and the lad's could also punt them around the course.
Weather was perfect and very cold on Saturday and most riders rode from the time we opened the loop until the time we closed it.
Some lucky riders scored some great prizes
Lots of tired and happy faces at the end of day one.
Rained most of Saturday night after 12.
Sunday morning it was raining lighty when we commenced for the day.
Some riders left but those who stayed enjoyed a very different course then the one we rode Saturday as the big wet completely transformed the course. There was lots of sideways action , but all the riders thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Again some lucky Riders scored some great prizes.
Thanks to all the riders for attending the event.
Many thanks to Ribbo and his family for providing a great venue , Pete Andrews and others for providing the prizes.
Many thanks to Frank and Andy from the Manly club for officiating at the event.
Looks like we will be having another event in October. We will keep you posted.
Thanks
Shoey

Really good event .
I met top bunch of people ; every one of them ; just all out for a fun ride ;D
Nice loop to ride . got in plenty of laps on the Saturday.
It did become a little more challenging (for me on my IT490 ,anyway ) on the Sunday after the overnight rain. Still great fun .
A big thanks to Andy , Frank , Rob & all the blokes involved with putting on the event .
Had a ball ,
We will be back ;D ;D ;D
Cheers , Steve .
