Title: Yamaha DT400 1975 IGNITION

I'm looking for a compatible black box for a '75 DT400 Yamaha CDI ignition. I've previously used both MX250 and YZ80 black boxes with this external flywheel CDI on a 250 and now want to try the original ignition curve on my 360. I'm interested in any external rotor Yamaha CDI components and complete units so what have you got?

i might have something mate, if i do you can have it.

i have a complete DT400 motor in the shed, 75 or 76, so i will have a look and get back to you.
what code is on the cdi ?

No thanks Graeme, it's the black box I'm looking for. Either a DT, MX or YZ CDI unit...as long as it's compatible with an external rotor DT400 ignition.

Bump..I'm still looking for a CDI module (black box for YZ400/250, DT400/250 or anything else that'll work.
Things are getting desperate...Jeez I might even have to get one off eBay if nobody can help me!
