Title: '84 CR250 Footpegs
Post by: TCSA#9 on April 30, 2010, 02:05:54 pm
For those in the know, can anyone tell me if the '83 pegs are interchangeable with the '84? Parts fisches seem to list the '83 through to '87 with differing numbers.

Cheers

I sourced some DR350 footpegs from ebay (after market) and they not only fit my 83 CR250 but they are a LOT wider than the stock Honda jobbies. Pretty cheap as well, which we like!

Not sure about the 84 Honda though!

I just fitted some 89 model YZ pegs on my 84 KX. I had the chance to size up the pegs Caps999 put on his CR480 which were the same YZ pegs. They fitted his 83 CR beautifully. I reckon they will fit the 84 also

'83 and '84 are different. You can be lucky sometimes with a late model set that fits. Bit hit and miss though.

84 are a completely different mungrel set up.they dont have a bracket on the frame for the peg to fit between they have a stub that the peg goes over- basically the reverse of the most common style.
