Title: Husky Help number two.
Post by: T250K on April 28, 2010, 08:52:51 pm
Would any Husky gurus out there be able to help with a complete exhaust system for a ' 77 CR 250  ???

The bike is in top shape so I'm looking for a quality system, either Original or Aftermarket.   I tried Fernando a couple of months ago, no luck, and have trawled just about every likely Husky supplier in the U.S. with the same result.

No problem up to about 1974, but zilch for the later years.

Thanks in anticipation, any help would be appreciated.  ;)         Cheers,  T250.

Good thought thanks Michael, I'd love to be able to set it up with a GMC pipe.    Geoff can make one but needs the bike there to jig everything up and make sure it fits, and I'm 4,000Kms West.    Next stop is Calcutta  ;D.

Vintage iron sell pipes.

You can order the pipe for a retro rocket pipe for a 77 390 , and with a couple of minor mod's , hey presto new and sensational looking pipe.

Shoey, Vintage Iron is one I hadn't tried, will get onto it.    Are the minor mods required on the 390 pipe only related to a different exhaust port size for the 250 ?

Watto,  I'm in the West as well.    PM sent.

Thanks guys,       T250.
