Title: YZ400C Silencer Wanted

Hi All,

I'm looking for a YZ400C silencer.  I'm doing a replica of the Factory IT400C Yamaha's that were used in the 1976 ISDT (International Six Day Trial) in Austria, and the Factory bikes ran a silencer off the YZ400C.

Preston Petty headlight and guard
Pre-production IT400D rear brake backing plate and snail cam adjusters
centrestand
looks to be a pre-production IT400D seat foam? (shorter and higher than standard C seat)

You no Tony, when you get old you tend to forget things, remember a couple of months ago I showed you 2 NOS mufflers.......well there the ones.....sold one already and could posibly be tempted to sell the other.....still in the Yamaha foam wrapping...are you drooling yet?. And guess what else I found under the house?.....you guessed it, a PP rear guard.. same shape as the one in your photo....now wipe you chin.. your a grown man.... and I have a NOS front guard extender like on the bike!!!. I reckon that the swingarm might be "D" model as well and the seat will be a butchered up standard one?. Cool looking bike.

Hi Guys, all taken care of.  Thanks for your help.

If anyone else on the forum was looking to bid on that second hand one on eBay (listed above), I won't be bidding now.  Sourced one locally.  That guy in the states seemed ok, quoted me around US$40 to ship to Oz.
