Hi i have a cr250 and have gear shaft problems the shaft slides when out all gears are there but when slides in looses all gear, any ideas?thanks..
-
There should be a lug in the sidecover to stop the shaft from sliding in and out.
When it slides in it probably disengages from the selector mechanism.

i am assuming this bike is Honda CR250 ( not Husky CR250). we can probably identify the model with some key info if you reckon its late 80's
is it have rear disc? (yes = 1987 onwards)
does it have low boy pipe? ( yes = 1988 onwards)
does it have upside down forks? ( yes = 1989 onwards)
can you post any pics or email them?
