........the seller boasts a "CR250 Piston (2 rings) " - nice to know in case 250 monty pistons get hard or dear to come by. Wonder what model etc. Anyone know?

Not sure about that one, but I did end up using a cr piston in my moto beta, might have to chase that one up, having trouble getting oversize piston for my cappra gp

Good point tossa &mx ! isnt it a shame this sort of info isn't in some sort of data base under specific models,like the stuff on the forum at the moment about the interchangability of pe-rm case's ,heaps of knowledge sliding into the cyberworld,unless it's titled you dont even know it's there :-\

The pistons made by Wiseco for the MT and CR250 Elsinore can be used in Kawasaki KT250 trials bikes without needing any mods.

Trouble is its getting hard to find the old school spare parts men who accumulated all that sort of info in their head. Has any one been to a repco shop recently? B/unbelievable, if its not in the computer there is no such thing! cheers wally.

Its just a matter of digging untill you get what you want, I know easier said than done, be great if you could get a book or a data base going
