Something not quite right with Wosners listing. Husky didn't make an 84 430! They had a 400 water cooled and 500 air cooled models.  Cant recall what they did in 85 - 87 but there were 430 water cooled models around.

Wosner definitely have pistons for your bike.  I bought one recently from Phillip at husqvarna-parts.com US$220 I think.

cheers Steve

Hi, I put a Wossner piston kit in my 81 430CR and it was a quality item. I got it from Stefan at R&D Husqvarna - Emu Plains

Yes pistons will be the same 81 - 83 for sure.  You can double check part numbers at Halls Husqvarna website.  They have the parts manuals from the 80's available for downloading.

Hey guy;s, I'am still none the wiser on whether husky 430 piston kit listed 84-88' will be right in my 83',they don't list 81-83' for some strange reason, ever the imported does'nt seem to know :-\,the only thing i can see in pictures is they have a cutaway around the sides near the pin that the mahle doesn't have, the size's and pin etc are the same , and people say they use woosners but they don't actually say it's that 84-88 one, should be right but need to be sure, why are they not listed 81-88' ???any help much apreciated
