hi l looking for a 65 to 67 bolt up frame to suit my Husky 67 engine, does anybody know off any or has a friend that might have one hanging around not in use. If l don`t have any luck in finding that model frame, l would be happy the buy a 68 to 69 Husqvarna Frame. Thanks
PM me or call 0405534146 David

Some personal think that l am not clear about my add.
I would like to buy a early Husqvarna motorcross frame, SERIAL NUMBERS for 1970 MODEL MH, 1969 MODEL MG, 1968 MODEL MF.
1967 MODEL WILL HAVE 67 STAMPED ON THE FRAME. SAME AS 1966, AND 1965 models, these models have a rear sub frame that bolts up to the main frame.
Just hoping that you may have a friend that my have a frame lying around, or you sore a early husky frame at a motorcycle wreckers, if you do please call me on 0405534146. Thank you.

Jeez Dave.....Another name, you international man of mystery! What'll it be tomorrow?
-
Dave >:(Allbrid3 now a guest ....You (and others)are actually really pissing people off with this name change game bullshit. IT will be no is !stopping replies to your requests Try using "Dave A" or something like that once and for all. Your bikes, ideas and years of knowledge are very interesting but you are totally alienating people from even bothering to read your posts as soon as they see it is you again under a different guise. Yes these reports come from others on this forum not just me. Think seriously about it mate as an adult please. Yours Tim Derrick
-
HI Tim, thanks mate. cheers
-
Neat ;) Cheers

Sorry Dave, I wasn't trying to knock your add, it was more of trying to explain why you had lookers and no offers.
As the heading for your add says "Husqvarna 65 to 67" then no one knows whether your looking for a complete bike or just a seat bolt until they look inside to see what you've written.
Not that theres any thing wrong with that, but it's part of the reason why you had the 50 odd lookers (at the time).
You have more views now, but most of them will be the same people coming back to see what else has been written.
Your searching for something that is just a little bit less rare than hens teeth, you shouldn't get up tight about not getting any offers.
BTW, what are you building?

Hello Geoff, know harm done my friend, well l am very happy with myself, found a early bolt up husky frame, just need to get it here.
A guy once had his frame posted from the states to me. He had the sub frame cut off and strapped into the engine bay.
Once here I welded it back together for him.
It had stamps of around $65.00 from memory (I think it may have been sea mail at the time)
If you have a bolt up frame all the better as it's compact size should come within the postal limits.
If I send a frame O/S it ususally costs around $500 with freight companies ( ususally UPS)
-
I had a quote from another fellow it was a 72 husky frame and it was $99 for the frame and $168 for freight, and other
times it has been $500 to $700 freight. i think it depends on the person at the other end.
-
Set a bench mark of say AUD $420 Dave, Freight above that would be Hmmmm, Just below OK if if..... $320 or below is very acceptable in todays climate.
-
Hi Tim, its not happening, he can`t freight the frame, its to big, so will need to think out of the square. I need to think hard about this, l will try and find a different frame or stick with pre70 era. ??? ???
-
Dave, if the sub frame un bolts then it should become quite compact. Don't let the guy put it in a box, just wrap it in plastic or bubble wrap and it will be much smaller so should fit in the post okay.
You can't do too much damage to a frame so it doesn't really need a box.
Some US post offices seem a bit more backward than our country ones.
-
Hi Geoff, just sent him an email see how we go. cheers
-
I see you've already got this stuff for sale on ebay. Ha.. you haven't got a clue what you want
-
JohnnyO. you may think like that, but l look at the over all picture and the cost to buy parts and to build a bike out of nothing, l don`t have that cash to splash and wait another 12 months, so l am happy for someone else to have that opportunity to build a pre 65 bike or pre70 , he may be in a better position than me. but l don`t judge other people on what they do with their money and bikes. but the person that buy`s my engine and parts he may already have a spare frame or knows someone that may have one, but in saying all this johnny, people that buy my parts are helping me also. So l have said to myself ( no more david), and l will look for a complete bike to ride and race. Johnny, you can also look at it this way too, the parts that l am reselling is also helping that person in rebuilding the bike of there dreams, that buyer is one step closer to complete there race bike, THANKS TO David.A
JohnnyO, what classes do you ride it and what bike do you ride.
-
David i ride pre '78 on an RM250b, Evo open on a 490 Maico, Evo 125 on a CR125ra, pre '85 on a '84 RM250, pre '90 on a '89 CR250 as well as 2 RH250's and a '78 Harley MX250 that are just for display and by CD7 i'll have an RM370 and '84 KX500 finished and on the track.
I've had most of them for years as well as several others to be restored yet.
I reckon that's a good idea to buy a bike ready to ride and maybe we'll even see you riding at CD7?
