Isn't the price supposed to be one of the reasons why you'd buy a 2-stroke?

I recall seeing a new Service Honda CR500 advertised by a dealer in Australia for about the price of a new 4-stroke - can't see how they're justifying another ~$4000 for the Kawi.

There in lies the problem with building one of those, you have to buy & kill a kxf to create something much better. I think you'd be in a much more exclusive club if you owned the kawasaki though

Arent kawasaki suppling them with the parts minus the KXF engine though ???

Good point, wouldn't have expected the version to have been any cheaper. Only thing I could think of is freight has gone up?

Wow :o. Whats the mark up on those - at the factory, at the distributors and the dealers.
