Hi everyone,ive just joined up currently restoring a cagiva 1983 wmx125,just sold my yz250g which needed a full resto sold to a member on this site kevwrx,just starting to get back into the good old bikes,i live near nelson bay is there any vmx clubs up this way?thanks..

i raced an 83 125 Cagiva in the Newcastle area with the BelmontMCC around 84/85~ish.
the harder i rode it the better it went. the front brake was crap and the rear brake lever was mounted in the engine case and broke off with ease {unfortunately}.
i loved that bike, it was tall, but did so much so well.

Thanks mate i cant wait to get her going,ive been told they go good for a 125cc,this is one project im not selling even the wife said its time to finish and keep a bike for a change..

Hi again,no i didnt find it on ebay,ebays good to sell bikes on but no good to buy i never trust buying bikes of there you never no if the price is being pushed up or not,you no what i mean,i found the cagiva complete just out of newcastle,the orignal owner had it sitting in the garden shed for years just never had time to ride it,lucky find im not sure but i dont think there would be alot left going in aus?im looking for a yz250 f 79model,if anyone knows of one???thanks
