Title: Qualifying my bike for pre85 scrutineering
Post by: Mick D on April 09, 2010, 06:42:41 pm
I am putting my 84 XR500 on the dirt track.
I have to replace the 17” wheel on the rear with an 18” so I can fit a trials tyre.

I have a complete 1984 KX500 rear wheel. And it fits on the XR with relative ease.

I gather I might cop some resistance if it were an EVO machine. But friends are telling me those rules don’t apply to pre85?

A tricky one for me. Can any one advise me please? Thx, Mick.
