I was collecting some parts from a friend to fix up my 250R, when he asked me if I knew what the the head and barrell on the right was off.
We agreed it looked big bore Honda and I took it home to compare with my 480 (on the left). After having another look at Caps 480 resto,
I'm pretty sure it's a Mugen kit. The piston in it is maybe 2.5 - 3mm smaller than a 2nd oversize 480 piston, so is it a 450 or 480??
I really want to keep it. :)

If its Mugen it will have mugen cast on it somewhere , if not its a Honda issue works part which is same as Mugen but without the name casting.Its 460 for sure.Whats the bore like?

Thanks guys,
Moto, the only markings on the barrell are underneath the reed flange, it's stamped 'B  21'
Will take some more shots when I get a chance, cheers.

if its an 89mm piston its a 480 mugen kit worth around 2k

It's a 460 kit same as the one I'm runing on my 480 if you look at the base of the barrel there will be a vent toward the back of the barrel to run this kit on a 480 you will need to get that welded
