Title: PE250T Project Bike

Reluctant sale of a PE250T (1980) Project. Mostly complete aside from engine.

Parts avail, all in good condition:

Frame (black), Swingarm (twin shock aluminium), pipe (has a muffler but needs replacing), Seat (choice of 2), front and rear guards, Tank, Triple clamps with bearings, forks, front and rear wheel hubs and backing plates (needs new rims, and spokes), airbox and boot. Might have a CDI and coil also.

Asking $480 for the lot.

Pictures attached of most of the parts - its actually my brothers bike and some of the parts are still at his place: will get a definitie list of what he has plus some photos soon. 

The parts in the attached photos: Frame, tank and airbox are all good, seat is good but missing a bracket at the rear: I have one but it needs to be adapted to fit the frame, swingarm is better than it looks in the photo - no cracks, front and rear guards are good - have been roughly painted (by former owner), shocks are good - I would have them rebuit/rechrome shafts, sidestand is off a 175 might be ok. Triple clamps are good but missing top nut and top screw, side covers are crappy.

Not pictured parts are: pipe, footpegs, rear wheel hub/brake plate, front wheel brake plate only, forks.

Will you sell those shocks separately if they have part numbers 62103-40600 & 62104-40600 stamped on the shocks? Ive been looking for some for ages.

The stamping on the shocks is KYB 0221   62103-40600

Yes will sell separately as these werent included in the original description and price that I posted.

They look to be in good usable shape, rods will need a re-chrome, springs and body would be fine to use as-is or you could repaint to get them looking as-new.  Looks like they have been repainted already but not a great finish.

On one shock the rubbers/eyelets are good - no cracking or deformation of the rubber.  The other shock the eyelets are ok but needs new rubbers at each end.

Overall very little rust, very minor surface rust at the eyelets.

Just a reminder about remaining items still available:

PE250 Frame,
PE250 Swingarm
PE 250 Rear wheel (hub and backing plate only good items)
Pipe and muffler

Triple clamps

Sorry mate, no side panels.  The tank is the only remaining item from the plastics.
