Title: yamaha rear sprocket 45t
Post by: rocketfrog on April 05, 2010, 01:04:05 pm
I need a useable rear sprocket to suit a 80/81 YZ100, the stuffed one I have is 45t with 6 bolt holes close to centre like 70's DT and YZ's Prefix starts with 2k6 (YZ125E) I think? Can any one help out please.

try the TT steel one i think they might have the same centres too and being a roady would be in the lower gearing

also to state the obvious,
if you're unable to find a 45t, then grab the next best thing and change the size of the front sprocket as well in order to keep the same gearing ratio.
they're a pretty common sprocket in 520 pitch.
428 pitch has fewer teething options but if it's for a YZ100 could be worth considering as it'll produce less "drag" than the 520.
less drag = more zinngggggg...........
