Title: lowering xr250rf rear shock info please
Post by: mattsaggus on April 02, 2010, 09:58:40 am
In the pre gas days i would dissemble the shocky and put a spacer in it limiting its return there fore shortening / lowering the bike.

The 1985 xr (my sons) has a canister and air valve, if i release the pressure is it gas or just air?

A diagram would be great too if anyone knows where i can get one.

Thanks Matt

Its nitrogen, all shocks are.(except some people use straight air in FOXAIRSHOX)
How do you know that you need a bladder if you haven't pulled it down yet?
They should be available through Honda or if not Racetech have them .
