Title: Kx 400 fork oil

Hiya !! just finshed rebuilding forks on my 76 400 does anybody know how fork oil viscosity/weight I shuould run. Have put proggressive wound springs and will mostly be used for dirt track.

Hey pinney, i will be watching the answer cause i just picked up one of those. what year had the white guards and which was the black?

Hey, book says 10w oil, 228cc. Oil level 432mm...springs out forks fully EXTENDED.. not compressed.

thanx kiwi, hi oldman 76 had black guards & green met paint tank 74/75 had white guards & lime green tank wich I think looks betta
gonna try an post up some pics as soon as i figure it out

So mine has metalic paint and white paint I am told it was from the UK... go figure. You dont happen to know cutoff engine numbers for the 75

 Hiya I contacted nightmare racing with engine and frame no's ( they never match)as mine had lime color underneath tank they told me it was a 76

What vin & engine numbers do you have Brett? I will let you know what model you have.
