what would be the best 80'scr125 to have

1982 after the initial 1981  bike the 82 was much better set up  even though it had water pump issues it was a very quick bike and great around the track
good looking and still value for money for pre 85 racing

1980 for an evo bike and an '83 or '84 for pre '85. I think that an '88 for pre '90.

thanx fellas i bought an 87 model wich i think is about the same as an 88.photos are in show us your trailbike.cheers gary

I think the 89 was a better bike than the 88?
Funny that in 87 and 86, the CR125 was the pick of the class while the 88 and 89 were not - but the 88 CR is still a better bike than the 87 model...
