Round 1 is done & dusted with a good weekends racing and rec riding. Round 2 is on at the home of HEAVEN VMX Inc , the Bulahdelah track approx 1 hour north of Newcastle NSW, on the 17th & 18th April 2010.
Rec riding on the Saturday with all bikes welcome and 2 full rounds of HEAVEN racing on the Sunday. Get your entries in early for another top weekend of VMX riding & socialising.
Camping is permitted at the track, so make a weekend of it and bring the family along for great weekend out.

but I would normally arrive after dark Friday night at Crawford river.
and I reckon Dennis would be champing at the bit after missing round 1

Been up to look at the track today. Looking good. Good coverage of grass, shall get it slashed again before the event so with a shower of rain before then, it will be prime for riding. Shall try to post some pics later this evening.

Bloody Hell, dont wish for a shower of Rain at Bulahdelah, that`s about 3 inches?. Lots Happening before next round, Bike Bonanza, Nationals, but will try and get there with Dennis to show him the fast lines ;)

Hello Dan,
Just a quick word to say how great our weekend was at Lake Glenbawn. Our family have only joined Heaven this year but felt like we had been involved for a long time. My sons thoroughly enjoyed themselves and can't wait to get back on the bike and go racing.
Question: Does Heaven post results on the net or doyou wait until the next meeting. The eldest son on the pogo Suzuki wants to know how he went in the EVO 250.
Once again thanks for the warm welcome and see everybody at the next meet in three weeks time

Glad to hear you guys enjoyed the weekend, thats what it's all about.
As for the results, they shall be posted on the HEAVEN website in the members area and an email sent out to all members letting them know the results are up. See you at Bulahdelah.

You certainly can, just be mindful of the file size, that's all. If the files are to large, it may be better to put them on a disc and post them to me. Talking to Ringo and Bradbury tonight. You need to get onto Bradbury about getting his shit together and being at the start line for Bulahdelah. Cheers.

Track Update,
Few light showers last night, more predicted for over the Easter weekend which will be good for the track. HEading up on Friday (weather permitting) to do a little bit of maintenance around the pit area before the event. I shall give another update next week. Cheers.

I have done a lot of work at Bulahdelah track over the years. I truly would have liked to be there, to help you out Dan.
But sadly at the moment, I have more valid excuses than a gigolo at a Jenny Craig meeting.

I shall be OK for this weekend, especially now that it has started to rain, so will have to wait and see what the weather does but I shall be organising a working bee before the CRC in June, so I shall advise as soon as the date is set. Cheers guys.

Hello Carl,
Jarred said that he was bouncing and sliding his way around the track. Shocks off an old thumpster, no oil, just springs, they go up and down. Jarred said you got a bit close and he clipped your front end, I think Jeremy on the 490 Maico also found out how wide the RM was. he didn't go too bad for a 16 year old who has never raced before, justed muck around on our property.
Our family had a ball all weekend and the kids love talking to the other riders.
Good news the RM has been rested and Jarred will ride a Husky 250 in EVO. Ohlin shocks have been sorted so it should track straight. He can't wait to see how it goes against the others.
You going to Bulahdelah?

All systems go for the weekend guys, come along and enjoy the riding and socialising for the weekend. Hopefuly if the technical gremlins don't get me, we shall be showing some VMX DVD's on Saturday night whilst enjoying some quiet ales! What more could you want! Get yourself there and don't miss out. Well another great weekend done & dusted. Loads of great racing, plenty of track time on the Saturday, couple of movies on the big screen Saturday night accompanied by plenty of liquid refreshment.
Couple of showers on Sunday made for some interesting moments on the track but all in all another great weekend.
Big thanks to all those that helped out on the weekend with sign-on, flag marshalling, set-up and marking out the track (as well as pulling down the bunting at the end of the weekend).
Bring on Lakes in May!

Sundays race track was great, fast and fun,
with just a little grooming before the Crawford river classic it will be sensational,
Might have to widen the start straight a little, I think the guys in the finish tent were ready to dive under the tyre's
on a few occasions ,
Dan was there a white plastic chair out side the shower's when you picked up the Geny?

OK how the hell does one access the photobucket album ???. Step by step instructions please. Just wasted 2hrs pulling some of the hair I have remaining trying to do a search but got some very scary pictures of 'heaven' but none with VMX bikes in them :o :-[

Guys,I just read the motorsportretro article and was I was really moved to see a number of old faces back racing i.e Vic,Goolies,Ken Smith and of course Marty O'Show.The last time I saw you all was Magoos send off,and without wanting to sound like a fag, its great to see you all out there on the track racing and having fun,just like the big man always did.
