Yeah, I recently bought spoke sets for MX125 and MX250 Yamaha wheels for $70 per set. The quality is excellent, the prices are great and they're pretty quick on the shipping. A year or so ago I got a big end/rod kit for a Suzuki TS90 from them for $40us which also impressed me.

yeah brought the xr75 spoke & rim set off him, good quality, however I havent built the wheels yet,I also got a set of spokes for my cr125m, also good the only drama with them was for authentic purposes they are one continuos thickness where genuine spokes are thicker at the hub end for the first inch or so & step down to a smaller size for the nipple end,the rear wheel laced up sweet but when I had finished final tighening on the front wheel there was still 5 or 6 threads showing,I looked at the original wheels on my other bikes & noticed the nipple covered all the thread,I put that down to the fact that I am using non original rims or I cocked up!All up for the price though no complaints from me!

I bought a set F&R for an early KX125 and had two issues - 1. There was one 'odd' spoke included that didn't match any of the others.  I advised the seller and had the missing spoke mailed to me quite quickly. 2. The bend of the long side, outer front spokes was all wrong, as in the bend wasn't done soon enough after the spoke head.  Consequently, when tightening those spokes, all that happened was that the angle of the 'bend' wanted to just straighten out as you kept applying tension.  A happy medium was reached so that the wheel could be trued but it's just not right.

Regards

Ken

Bought a set to suit Honda XL250 , would give them a 8 1/2 /10 the 1/2 being for the cheap price  ;D

Are you sure you had the rim rotation in the right direction?

Yes, all good with rim rotation!  Perhaps I just didn't explain it correctly........the bend (elbow) of the spoke was made too far away from the head.  As in, the spoke exits the hub and travels several mm before the bend.

I know what you mean Ken, I had the same issue with some spokes I bought. I had a few mismatched spokes and the same problem with the bend. I bought enough that I was able to come out with a full set, I'm just hoping that the spokes hold up. I think they will, but it's something to warch out for.

have purchased a few sets from this seller, plating I felt was below standard and I also recieved some miss matched and extra 'blank' spokes and nipples. I emailed the seller and had no reply at all. Some of the suzuki spokes don't have the thicker end like they should. I'd probably buy again but 'only' if I couldn't buy a genuine set ;)

never bought nothing off him but after looking through his honda stuff i will give him a go.he had honda sl100 seats complete and it works out to be about $90 posted wich by the time a trimmer puts new sponge and recovers mine it will work out cheaper to buy one off this bloke.cheers gary

pretty sure most of his seats are 'Sail Ship Motorcycle Double Seat Company' The seat bases are not the greatest pressings and can be found to be made from 3 or more individual scrap pieces of 'used' sheet spot welded together then pressed. Mind you for the price they are still good as the covers are good and so is the foam. The base works fine for me but on a resto someone would spot it ;) They come with new brackets normally which is nice.

sounds good to me doc its only for my daughters sl100 although pretty tidy bike she will just be trail riding on it.a someone has cut half the sponge off the seat and made some stupid rack on there so to get it fixed would probably be more expensive from a local trimmer than to buy a new one,and i think his look better than a local trimmer would do.after seeing your post in the trail bike section i think the lights might be coming off it as well.i showed my daughter your one and she loves it ;D.i liked all of them some nice lookin stuff.cheers gary

I picked up a couple of sets of spokes, one for the 125F and one for future projects...rebuilt the wheels for the 125F with no problems, but when I went back to the spoke stash to rebuild the wheels for the 125C there was a problem with the rear wheel spokes, half were the wrong length.

So, 18 mths after the original transaction!!!!!!!, I emailed the seller, and after a bit of back and forth to make sure the length of the replacment spokes I needed were correct, it was all sorted. Couldn't fault the service at all.

I don't think it matters where a supplier is located, good service is good service.
