Title: PE250T Sidecovers & Seat/Cover
Post by: TT on March 20, 2010, 06:29:56 pm
I'm after a second hand sidecovers and seat or seat cover for this bike as new parts won't fit in with the rest of the bike.  :D

I feel your pain Tony :(

hence....why on my '78 RS400C cheapo bitsa project (I ditched the RS100 idea :P) I have only this morning generously applied a beaut coat of el'cheapo satin black :o end of problem 8) just need to find me an exhaust, bolt on the airbox and carb, buy a rear sprocket, couple of cables, pair of grips, a few rear spokes, a doc detail and she'll be done 8) Another one Suzuki never made that no one would have wanted ::)

(The guards and covers were rejects, front was chunder white, rear sun bleached red and the covers a yellow spew colour so no good vintage parts have been harmed in this project)

I've shelved the idea of turning it into an RS250 for the moment, mainly because of the cost of shipping the bits I need from the U.S.
The bike I have has no L/H sidecover and the R/H one is VERY faded and brittle. So paint won't help me much.  :-\
I just want to get it running and looking reasonable before the Harrow vinduro.

Great stuff, Frosty! I've sent you a pm on the 'other' site.  ;D

The Harrow Vinduro is on the weekend of July 24/25 in Western Victoria at a place called (oddly enough) Harrow.  ;)
