-
does anyone know where I can get fork guards for my usd white power forks?
-
For what year model are the forks and what colour are you after? Are they drum brake or disc brake?
-
Took a pic of it

84 model with 83 model disc front the fork guards are old and brittle, need a new set.

I thought the 83 model had conventional forks with the caliper mounted up top infront of the fork leg. The wheel/brake you have shown does not look like 83 to me.

Be careful if you intend to enter any pre 85 events ;)

Note the solid disc

I'll stand corrected, but...
The 1983 495 MX models had conventional forks with disc brakes.
In 1984 they had USD WP forks with drum brakes. (The disc was that bad)
For 1985 they went to USD WP with a disc brake set up.
The white protectors shown in your pic are still avaliable from KTM, but not the left side drum brake guide, you would have to settle for a disc version, the one without the cable guide.
You can also still get the protectors in yellow (a Husaberg part) and you may be able to get them as a genuine Acerbis part as well given that the forks were used on many bike from Europe and the ATK from USA, but i have never tried that route.

Bahnsy you are 100% spot on ..
The New Disc Did Not Come out to Late very Late 1985.
The Forks in Photo is Not Pre 1985 it may even 1987 if it has a adjustment screw down
near the Disc . and a Ckicker on top of fork.

Dunno guys, I just remember being told that these were 83 USD forks with the disc brake when I replaced the drum USD front which was on my 84 model bike when I bought it I think there may have been some odd spec KTM's in the 80's ??? also, the forks in my pic are non adjustable.
