easy question for guru,s purist best close your eye,s ,will a 83 cr480 motor fit in the 82 frame ?

I'm pretty sure that's been done before but i would be stickin to the 82

As it looks it may be a engine build from scratch which ive done plenty but i need a couple of 82 cases in good nic plenty of abused welded ones about (no they can,t weld ) see what comes up no hurry

You peobablymay be better off finding a repaired pair of cases as they all seem to evently crack between the two drive bearings because the alloy it just to thin
