Title: YZ 250 "C" what carby and jets do they run?
Post by: mattsaggus on March 13, 2010, 06:35:31 pm
Hi all,
I have picked up a yz250 "C" engine that has no carby,
Whats the best to run on it? I need to keep it legal for classic meetings.

Thanks heaps

im guessing they probally had a 34mm mukini round slide. Legal all years, great carbies, cheap spares.

And an even wilder guews id say #300 mains, p-0 , #45, #2 and needles probally the 6fp5 sort or taper.

This ones  too modern for you Freaky.... 38mm carb std. Best thing you can do is to buy a parts book, there on Ebay. It will tell you the jetting specs then buy a brand NEW one from TD Hatricks in Townsville.... tell him the jets etc you need because they dont come with the right jets. Beats pissing around with 2nd hand carby's and then having to buy a new one!!!
