Title: What does a 214 18178-200 loook like
Post by: Freakshow on February 23, 2010, 03:53:20 pm
Still trying to get this bloody motor together before i enter Nats.

But i found a bit i dont remeber seeing before but now sits in cases ?

it was like a little 10 mm bush with a washer think top.  Closes thing i can see in part that looks like it is behind the change shifter, but how did it fall into cases ?  see picture part 26 at top.

anyway i later dropped it when presing the crank out, and now not sure if it supposed to be in there or on the outside, or what the hell it was.

can someone who has one apart please post a photo of the little jigger, that way if i can see its the same, so i can reassemble the cases, as i think it may now have come from the clutch side and i can do that later.

if you talking about number 26 yes it does go between the shifter and shift shaft yes it sits behind the cluych cover and it pretty normal to drop the little basterd in the centrecases when re assembling as it only drops onto the mechanism and is hed in once the cases are together
