Hi Guys, Is it worthwhile engaging a Customs Agent for a bike arriving from the US?
And if so, does anyone know/recommend one in Brisbane?
I've got a bike arriving from the US soon (the ship left Singapore on Wednesday), so I suppose landing in Brisbane in a couple of weeks. Probably end of Feb/start of March.
Thanks

If you want to get ripped off blind for basicaly filling out a few forms, filling them in scanning and emailing back to Customs. I just went through this with Customs and found them very helpful and efficient. Most emails were replied to within 15-30min with the forms I had to fill out attached. Easy peasy.

I had to get an import permit and then there was a customs agent waiting to see my bike when it landed, he was a good bloke though, had a quick look and said thats a tidy old example and was happy with the cleanliness and that was that.
