OK here is one for the experts as no one here seems to know much about it - I am hoping the answers dont come tumbling down and make me look like a tosser though (no comment please Magoo!!!).
I bought my YZ 360B with a spare shock. Anyway this monoshock has had the spring removed and an "air cylinder" installed in its place. The body looks conventional like the standard one I am running and it is as though a cannister has been installed in place of the spring. Any ideas on what it is??? Also any ideas on where it can be fixed as it would make a good spare - maybe even a good runner instead of a spring monoshock???
And while I am at it does anyone have any decent photos of the US yellow model YZs from 74/75?
Awaiting with baited breath gents!!!
regards

I can remember a Reeder gas spring that was available in the US for those early YZ's. That is possibly what you have.

I have two complete sets let me check tonight as I think they are 250 but I may be wrong.
I will post a picture tonight.
I also have spare side plates as well which I will be posting on ebay soon as well as the decals.

You can get the decals at yamatopdog or yzdecals

I shall check yzdecals again but I looked at Yamatopdog yesterday with the correct part numbers and they showed Nil stock. The Speed and Sport section however does have the 360 Yamaha decals for the tank but doesn't list the stripe?
Cheers

YZdecals did me the courtesy of a very quick reply - which was excellent - however they dont carry anything yet for the 360B - bugger.

If you can get a good clear picture of the tank with the graphics on, you could just go to a signage place and they will make you a copy. I do that with all my graphics and it means that if they get damaged I can just ask them to make some more. My sign place made the noguchi decals for me and various other decals and I have been very happy with them. The only problem with the decals they make for the plastic tank model bikes is that they dont last long as you probably already know about stickers and plastic tanks.

I WILL SELL YOU A SET OF STRIPS YOU JUST HAVE TO GET THE 360 ONES FROM SPEED AND SPORT.
THANKS ADAM

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the MX250B monoshock compared to the Yz's (such as valving,or any thing subtle that's not apparent to the eye) I have both and need to know advantages or not. Thanks New to this forum and already hooked Tom
