I knew I'd be out-done by you KB :D........
-
I can still remember Lyall O`brien having that bicycle in this show room at pakington st Geelong West.
-
I reckon' it probably went from there to the Warnambool shop. Apparently the owners son used to ride it so I'd say Lyall probably gave it to him. I wouldn't be suprised if it was the only one that came here.
-
the montesa shop in warnambool would have been Phil Russell motorcycles my old scramble mate, montesa rider in the 70`s, and l am sure he rode bultaco. He is into yachting now. but still has the bike shop, as you enter the town.
-
hey ross phil hasnt got his vg250 still has he
him and me had the only two :D
be nice too know where they went 8)

This was my rare Montesa that l bought off Lyall O`Brien, Lyall built this bike from NOS Parts that he had in stock for his Son Gary, gary rode it for a full vintage
season, that l bought it, l raced to bike at South Australia, and 2 full season of vintage and moved it on, that was a very big mistake. A very fast bike.
